great place, away from the noise of the city. beautiful area, animals around. great accommodation, fantastic mattress and showers. Basel is great and helpful.

Nice place to relax and see and feed the horses and cows. The Labrador dog was very friendly. Hosts were nice and friendly. A place to stay away from devices. Comfortable in the house with 4 kids. Strawberry picking next door. Unfortunately only stayed one night so didn’t get time to experience longer.

Super friendly host. The house was clean, living room spacious, beds comfy, but the main attraction was feeding the animals around 6pm. Cows, horses, chickens. There were also wild ducks and kangaroos. We learned to pick up chickens, which was probably the highlight for our teens. But I absolutely loved meeting the puppies! 9 cute-as-button labradors. And I’m not a dog person. They were only 8 weeks old so we were lucky with our timing, as they’ll get new homes soon. The two older dogs are happy to see you when you arrive, but don’t bark at all, making it a very pleasant experience for those who may be dog-wary. We brought marshmallows for a campfire which Bazel kindly set up for us. Just down the road is Ricardoes Tomatoes where you can do strawberry picking and go for breakfast at the cafe, known for “the world’s best scones” One tip- the water from the kitchen sink tastes a little earthy for us city folk, so you may want to bring drinking water or boil it, which tasted fine.
