From the moment we parked our vehicle, we were captivated by the gorgeous landscape. The limestone steps through lush vegetation, and lakefront views, allowed this place to have a resort vibe. If you are looking for a secluded place to go and relax, I highly recommend this one. Tammy was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had an incredible stay at the lake. We definitely will be back!

Had an incredible weekend away by the lake! The spot is secluded and stunning, right on the lake with gorgeous views. Tammy was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A perfect long weekend getaway, cannot recommend highly enough!

We had an incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the view of Kawagama Lake. Tammy and Dave were incredibly nice and always willing to help. We spent one night in the tiny house and were then upgraded to the Lakehouse apartment for the second night. The tiny house itself was impeccably equipped. Dave helped us set up the gas fireplace. When asked about a liquor store he said it was closed and generously brought a bottle of wine to the house. The outdoor shower and incinerator toilet are adventurous. But adventure is part of what you're coming for! There is a powerful portable heater, so don’t worry about being cold at night. The bed is very comfortable. The Lakehouse apartment was a luxurious treat with a hot tub. It has everything your heart desires. Definitely don’t miss kayaking on the serene lake. This stay truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We could not have asked for a more perfect getaway! Thank you for an unforgettable experience! 🧡

Our weekend at the Paddle Shack was absolutely perfect! It was everything we wanted and more! It's actually better than the photos. The view is amazingly gorgeous and the bunkie was tiny, but it has everything we needed- and is beautifully updated. Everything's picture perfect! Tammy is a very good host. Clear instructions and we absolutely appreciate local recommendations as it was our first time at Dorset. She's very responsive, flexible and super kind. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely come back in the summertime!

We loved our stay at the paddle shack! It's a very cute and cozy place located in a beautiful area. It's close to Algonquin park, so it's perfect for people who want to go hiking. The bunkie is small but has everything you need. Tammy is a very helpful and responsive host, she was always making sure we had everything we needed and she gave us lots of useful information and recommendations.
