Its unique green roof is cultivated to support and improve the gardens natural biodiversity and blooms with colour and wildlife almost year round. Best of all, The Cabin's serene environment makes it easy to forget the close proximity to Cowley Road. Cowley Road, a cultural hub of Oxford and its restaurants, bars, shops and music venues is a short 5 minutes walk away. Oxford City Centre, Oxford University, the Westgate Shopping Centre, and the main train and bus stations, are a 25 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride. Oxford Brookes University is only a 15 minute walk to its main campus. London, the nearest Oxford to London Tube stop (St Clements) is 10 minute walk away. The St Clements bus stops links to many London airports. There is a fridge, toaster, all necessary crockery and cutlery. Coffee and tea are provided. Please note the kitchen bar is NOT a fully functioning kitchen. No cooking facilities. An update from since we have listed the place: we have changed the mattress, there is now a new much more comfortable mattress. We ask that you please: Be respectful of your surroundings and our neighbors, please keep loud noises to a minimum especially in the evenings. Don't smoke or bring pets into the Cabin, and dispose of cigarette butts or any other litter in the ashtray and bin prov.. (This includes our cat, he is friendly and manipulative, don't fall for it). Finally, we welcome you to our peaceful garden escape, and this special (best) part of Oxford, and are happy to give recommendations on the local area. We love it when guests enjoy and use the garden, it is a shared garden with the main house but we mostly use the front garden, so please feel at home.
