This was our first time visiting North Yorkshire and Ivy Cottage proved to be the ideal location from which to visit a host of attractions. We also enjoyed watching the lambs and pheasants in the field opposite, which you could see from sitting on the sofa. The bed in which we slept was the most comfortable we have experienced in this country and the kitchen was very well equipped, even having an air fryer. I had no need to contact Caroline upon arrival or during our stay as all instructions were very clear. We hope to return in the future.

My sister and I stayed and would like to say a big ‘thank you’ for being so accommodating when travel arrangements changed unexpectedly. The cottage was chilly and soon warmed up once we got the log burner going, there was lots of wood and it made the whole cottage warm and cosy. The area had some lovely walks and really close to Fountains Abbey.

Had a lovely stay at Ivy Cottage. Great location, walking distance from the deer park , great for walking the dog. Ripon close by. The cottage is beautiful , lovely decor, nice and clean and full of charm. I would recommend Ivy cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location.
