We had a lovely stay. The cottage was quaint and in a lovely location. We met the neighbour as we arrived and she was extremely helpful and welcoming.
We had a lovely stay at the Cottage to visit Fountains Abbey the next day. Hosts were very helpful when we had questions about the travel cot. Cottage was as described and had everything we could need. Thank you.
Lovely area with plenty to do. Recommend Fountains Abbey and Ripon cathedral. Warm and cosy cottage with lots of hot water and comfortable bed. Clear instructions and communication with owner.
Great host who was very friendly and responsive. The cottage is tired and needs updating. The bathroom is downstairs, which isn't mentioned online and the stairs are very small and not ideal for an older person. The cottage had a strong smell upon entering, which we thought was cat urine. Comfy beds and lovely clean linen. The kitchen cupboards were not clean and the oven was just OK. We were going to press our shirts on arrival; however, the advertised ironing board was missing, which was a problem as we were going to a black tie event! The property is tired and not as clean as we'd of expecting for £180 a night.
A cosy, clean cottage with private parking, perfect place to stay to break up a longer drive. Thank you!
