自我介绍

I am a backpacker. I found out about this website after I landed in Istanbul without a guidebook. I ended up staying one night at a costly place. A few days later someone told me about this website, so I thought right, if anyone wants a cheaper place to stay, then I can offer a bedroom or a bedsettee if you need to just crash. One thing I hate about travel is being ripped off, so I am therefore offering bed and breakfast (optional and complimentary if you want it) to anyone who needs it. Lots of cups of tea and chocolate hob nobs! By the way that's not me decorating the front room. It's my mate, a local artist who takes commissions! (smile!) As a traveller living without electric and running water half the time, I am happy to host and serve you the best I can, knowing what I need as a necessity as well as reaching affordable 5 star luxury on the road, I hope to give you all that I can - to make it a memorable experience with as much comfort as possible. As a further reflection of being a host now for over 5 years, I have found that Airbnb is about an exchange of energy. One great thing which Airbnb does, is that it allows all different kinds of people into our lives, whom we probably would never meet otherwise and not always it may be exactly how it says on the tin or perhaps it does? (smile!) but it is also an avenue which allows us a way to visit people and places all over the world, allowing us an opportunity where we can share our knowledge and ideas, our hopes and dreams, as well as ourselves. For it is this, which is important - not just our homes. Of course the ascetics of a place is important (apart from Ikea!?)(LOL!), but what really would be lovely - is to take away a friend of a stranger you haven't met yet - now that would be the real ethos of Airbnb. I am here to serve you and so is my collie dog, Jessie,(woof! woof! by the way!) who will be happy to greet you too (as long as you can throw a ball!) (smile!)
