The place was cute and very chic! Can easily find the location on Grab and was nearby a convenience store too. Wifi working okay. AC was cool. Just some concerns on cleanliness especially the toilet bowl seat which had so much stains. Sink had chunky black dirt also. Dusty kitchenware at top cabinet. Some pillows and rug had a few stains too. Saw 2 baby roaches as well. Nothing too extreme but got bothered with the toilet one :( + maybe point for improvement to provide shower gel. Other than those, would recommend booking. Walls, table, floor, and the rest pretty clean though! Host was very accommodating and easy to talk to :) Would still rate it a 4 overall, probably 4.5-5 if I’m not very picky about sanitation. Appreciated as well host offering to give us parking at a safe spot. Appreciated space tour as well upon check-in. They provided room slippers too + mini fridge was super cold! Booked same day too so really happy about its availability as well :)

Overall, we had a great stay! The main reason for us finding a home away from home is due to the fluctuating electricity in our area and since we are working from home and we have furbabies, we opted to book her place. Everything was spot on, except for some little cockroaches in the bathroom and cooking pans that need replacement ASAP. The internet is a bit slow given its prime location. However, it is better than having no electricity at all. We met her on our last day, she waited at the lobby and she checked the room herself. She seems friendly in person and what I liked about her was that she was so easy to talk to when we had minor hiccups on the first time we booked. Kudos, Janice! Would I recommend her place to a friend, or should we consider returning soon, regardless of power interruptions? DEFINITELY, YES! Not my first time in Upper Story, but her hosting makes the experience better than the first! By the way, they use ACCA KAPPA. Love that brand! Sosyal!
