Our stay here was very nice, you are just on the other side of the road paralleling the coast and it is a cozy, if dated home. Overall, we had no big issues staying here and it worked pretty well for our needs and we appreciated the pet friendliness. It is a small older home so expect some quirkiness to it, but the backyard and view is fantastic. The fences are low on one side and have gaps on the other, so I wasn’t personally comfortable letting our dogs off leash but that wasn’t a problem for us. Overall, it is a lovely space in Port Angeles and the hosts were super responsive. Would recommend to others no problem!

Our stay at Amar’s was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit both nights. The bed was comfortable. The location was nice and close by to the Olympic discovery trail for biking, walking, and running and there’s some nice views of the cliffs down the street. It’s about a 15-20 min drive from downtown and 10 from the Walmart for any needs. Our only issue is the fence. They advertised a newly fully fenced yard, however there’s about a 2 foot gap between their neighbors fence and their fence on the left side of the house. Didn’t notice it the first night until our dog disappeared in the dark while in the corner of the yard. Thankfully he came back on recall. The next night we payed more attention to him but he still slipped out feeling the call of the wild and we had to jog down the street to get him. The next morning he did it again and we had an unpleasant run in with a surprised and huffy neighbor. The fence could easily be extended and make the place truly dog safe and friendly.

The home was well appointed. Description accurate. Location worked well for what we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard.

Amar’s place was good for a short stay. With a cleaning fee in place, I expect an immaculately clean home, which was not the case. Cobwebs in the bathroom is not what I like to see, especially with the fee. The bed was very uncomfortable and noisy, we actually ended up sleeping on the pull out because it was more comfortable than the real bed. The kitchen could have used more amenities - there was only instant coffee but a real coffee maker. There were also real beans, but no grinder. There was only one small ice mold in the freezer. The hot tub was really nice to unwind in after a long day and was clean. It’s definitely a small space, but it was good for what we needed it for.
