excellent logement avec une vue magnifique sur Évian. nous avons pu profiter des bons légumes et fruits du jardin . c'était propre, au calme, avec une bonne literie et bien équipé. je recommande vivement.

We had a wonderful time at this house, which was recently renovated and I believe we were its first renters. The placement of the house in Evian was fantastic and the garden was just amazing. There were apple trees, plum trees, blackberry bushes, tomatoes overflowing, a gorgeous view of the lake. The garden is HUGE and beautiful. We spent some really happy moments under the trees in the garden on a picnic blanket just enjoying the view, reading books, napping etc. The kitchen is fantastic and well equipped in terms of appliances—stove and fridge are perfect but it was lacking in some basic utensils that would have made cooking and food storage much simpler. Also, there is no outside lighting on the deck or patio so it’s a bit difficult to enjoy the outdoor spaces at night, but we still had fun and used candles. My main issue is that we were obligated to rent sheets and towels from the agency or bring our own, as though we were staying in a hostel. For a house of this size and price, my husband and I found that ridiculous. The pillows were old and uncomfortable. Though it is a four bedroom house, only two of the bedrooms have direct access to bathrooms. Otherwise you must cross through someone’s bedroom or use the shared toilet on the main floor, which would obligate the guests of one of the upstairs bedrooms to go downstairs to use the restroom at night. It would be best for one single family, in my opinion, or close relatives. All of that said, I would still be excited to come back, but they need to sort out the linens and update a few things. The agency was very friendly and I know people will love this house as a cozy and beautiful destination. There are many nice things to do around the area. The only reason I bothered to write so much is because the setting is so lovely, this place will eventually really shine.

We enjoyed our stay in a very nice location. It is a climb up the hills through winding roads but the view is superb. The house was freshly renovated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The washer/dryer were convenient for our family. The check-in/out could be enhanced if we didn’t have to go to the local agency located in town to collect the keys and return them back to the agency again on the last day. Overall a beautiful place to stay that has a potential for 5 star rating.
