The Pinetree Cabin was an amazing place to stay with my large family. It is in a great location just outside of town. Diane was a fantastic host and responded to anything and everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here!!!

Wonderful place to stay for our vacation. We had 11 people staying including kids and grandparents, there was more than enough room. Everyone loved the place! Highly recommend for anyone coming to the Black Hills and needing a little more space.

First about our host. I doubt it's possible to find a better host than Diane. She is just one of those people you just can't say enough good about. She made herself available when we had questions and concerns and was patient, understanding, easy to work with, and open to our suggestions. She loves what she does and it shows. The cabin made our family reunion easy to execute. It had everything we needed for 8 adults and 6 children. The three levels gave us privacy when needed and the wrap around deck and gas grill were great to use. The family room was just right for planning sessions. We ate almost all our meals at the cabin and saved a lot of money. The kitchen was stocked with the equipment and tools needed. The beds were better than our own- we slept in total comfort even for two people with back problems. The grandkids loved the kids cave and sleeping nook and each took their turn. Pinetree cabin is an excellent location with central access to Custer State Park, etc.

Good: The house was beautiful and had lots of great things for kids included. It also had a lot of nice seating inside and out. Great location. I liked that it was well stocked, clean, and Diane was responsive. Bad: There was no information book to give you instructions or the Wi-Fi password. The AC was terrible. Main floor was comfortable, downstairs was freezing, and upstairs was super-hot. We had to open the windows and run fans. The kitchen lacked basic cooking utensils like a pasta fork, meat thermometer, etc. They were doing major construction on a garage/building right outside the front door, making parking difficult for our multi-family group and there were noises and contractors coming and going. Two weeks after our stay we received an invoice for damages which I don’t believe we did. Overall good experience at a nice house, but felt a little overpriced.

Diane was great at communicating from the time of reservation to when we left. The cabin had everything we needed for the family and more. The location was perfect for all the things we had on our list to do. Very close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy horse and Custer State Park. Would definitely reserve this cabin again when we are in town!
