The best reason to choose this home is the property. Wonderful view and secluded setting. Beautiful! It was clean. Large master with bath! Very close to Custer and the state park. Great location. Summer rates were steep- $7500 for 4 nights- yikes. A few details: double oven, but top one didn’t always work. Electric stovetop with 6 burners. 12 cup drip coffee pot plus 40 cup perc. coffee pot for use. The coffee provided is coffee packs. Bring your own ground coffee, IMO. The only supplies at the house are for the coffee, bring all ingredients for anything you want to cook. Nice grocery store close-by. The kitchen is adequate but dated. It was a nice surprise to see a cement basketball court and a volleyball net set up!! Wood for the fire pit was there, too. Lawn was well-cared for. We saw deer everyday! We all enjoyed our time there very much. I would only change -the price, having to drive to town to pick up and drop off 2 keys instead of having a keypad entry, and no ice at the house.

April was a wonderful host. Quick to respond to my questions. The place was clean and spacious. Pictures were accurate. Great peaceful location.

This home was amazing!!!!!!! We stayed over Christmas and absolutely loved it! The pool table and game table downstairs we hands down the group favorite! The kitchen had plenty of room for all cooking and food prep. There was plenty of seating for everyone throughout the house. All the windows have views of the beautiful Black Hills. We saw horses , deer , birds, sunrises and sunsets! Every room had its own cable TV which was appreciated for some in our group. There was so much room for kids, teens and the adults without becoming noisy. We stayed while in the midst of a very cold snap but this home stayed cozy and warm. We used the propane fireplace and it was so nice and toasty. The location was private , quiet and easy to find. The host was very helpful and very responsive. I absolutely 100% recommend this rental for large groups! This rental was exactly what we needed for a multi family gathering! THANK YOU!

We loved our stay in Custer. Close to everything. The house is terrific for a big group with plenty of full bathrooms and the two bunk rooms downstairs were so helpful in accommodating our group of 17. Nice to have plenty of linens, toiletries, and places to sit outside. Sunrise is beautiful on the front deck too. Thank you!
