The Lodge was a lovely space to stay at during the holidays. The space had all of the necessary amenities and more! Each floor / space was equipped with its own kitchen, laundry, and living room space, which was incredibly helpful as we had multiple families living in those spaces for our family gathering. The outdoor space and deck was breathtaking and it was a lovely spot to watch the sunrise, sunset, and wildlife. This space is also pet and baby friendly, with amenities for babies and fur babies, such as pet bowls, pack and play, bouncer, and even toddler utensils. Lastly, we stayed at Lodge and there was a blizzard that hit Nemo and the hosts were incredibly generous with us and wanted to make sure our safety was first. They did this by allowing us additional time at The Lodge to ensure our safety. We did not use this, however, we’re very grateful for this. I would recommend you plan your next family getaway at the Lodge.
This lodge was an incredible place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. It had plenty of room for everyone . The kitchen was so perfectly stocked with all the items we needed to cook dinner. Traci and Bruce have taken great care to make sure their guests have all they need to make their stay as if they were at home. This lodge is very well maintained, so clean. If you are looking for a place to just relax focus on family and enjoy the beautiful surroundings I would highly recommend this lodge.
This place was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds, large tables, plenty of seating areas, lots of dishes, pots and pans, and loved the butler’s pantry. Beautiful place, exactly like the pictures. We will definitely use it again if we come back to the area.
Our stay here was amazing. we needed a large place to get the whole family together for a wedding, and this did just the trick. The only "issue" we had was that we are not from the Nemo area and were not informed ahead of time that you WILL 100% lose service on the drive out there and that would have be nice to know. Also the check-in instructions were very unclear, just that we had to check in after 5pm (no earlier), they didn't tell us the door was unlocked so we had to call to find out that we could go in. Besides that this was an amazing location, with amazing views, and so glad everyone was able to stay with us here for an amazing wedding weekend.

I spent almost 8 years in the U. S. Coast Guard then married and raised two beautiful daughters. We lived in Hawaii and then moved to the mainland so that the girls would have an opportunity to obtain a better education than what the island had to offer. The girls were educated in Washington State and are now grown with families of their own. I have 7 grandchildren. I remarried in 2010 to Bruce Keller, and we now live in Nemo, South Dakota. We have two Tennessee Walkers, two doggies and three cats. We now run Freebird Ranch Resort Vacation Rentals I spend most of my time hosting and when I have time to myself, I spend it in my garden or with friends.
