We stayed here for 5 weeks. Sofia was a great host, easy check in, very nice and responsive. Spoke great English. The house was comfortable and clean. And in a beautiful area. It has a great outdoor space. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy to cook out of. The only downside was the bed was too hard for us & the master bathroom was hard to air out even though it had a window that we left open it was always wet & humid. We had a good time here.

ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Lage ist sehr ruhig. Man kann schöne Spaziergänge am Wasser machen und das Meer ist auch nicht weit weg. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war hervorragend. Sie waren immer erreichbar und reagierten schnell auf meine Fragen und Anliegen. Alles in allem war es eine großartige Erfahrung, und ich würde diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der nach einem angenehmen Ort sucht, um zu entspannen und die Umgebung zu erkunden

My husband, 10 month old and I had an amazing month long stay at Sofia’s place. She was very friendly and responsive in her communication and flexible which we appreciated. The area is a small drive from a larger town which means it is a peaceful getaway. She has everything you could need at her house, especially if you are a young family. We would highly recommend Sofia’s house and can’t wait to come back there next year.

We spent August here in beautiful Foz Do Arelho. Sofia is a very responsive and helpful host. Her parents next door are the sweetest. The house is big and 5 of us had plenty of room. The backyard patio is great for dining outside and the pool is great. The kitchen is adequate enough for quick soup/salad meals but we had to buy the basics - oil, salt and pepper. Her mom did bring some evoo later. There was just 1 kitchen towel, and just enough toilet paper and paper towels for 3-4 days. We had to buy our own toiletries and some basic cleaning supplies - scrubbers, sprays - cos none were provided. If you’re planning to stay long, plan on buying these items. We also bought a fan cos the house has no ac/fans and some days the temp reached into the high 80’s. We didn’t find any beach blankets/chairs which really limited our beach time. Also there were some issues at check out with not being able to punch in the gate code. Despite all these hiccups we had a good stay. Thanks Sofia.

We stayed in the area before and in many other Airbnbs. Never felt more at home. Enough space, tastefully designed, quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to kitesurf spot, one of the best spots for jogging. A hidden gem. The house is well equipped, but be prepared for mosquitos as they are unforgiving. The views from top floor are spectacular. Everything clean and neat as you’d expect in your own home. Importantly for those working remotely, Wi-Fi is strong and perfectly adequate for two full time remote workers even when kids are streaming movies. The swimming pool shared by the neighbours was largely empty and kids had it to themselves most of the time. The place was simply one of the best and Sofia was an excellent host.
