David and Sandy's space is a peaceful retreat nestled in the Adirondacks in an area close to many different types of experiences. Definitely a nature lovers paradise yet close to shopping, museums, art and plenty of options for foodies. We took in Octoberfest at Whiteface Mountain, toured the Olympic venues, hit up Cedar Creek Store for great take home eats and thoroughly enjoyed our couples weekend. The space was exceptionally clean and neat with a truly well appointed kitchen (two cooks this weekend commented). It is a vertically oriented space with many stairs and I only comment on this because it can be hard on older knees that are on the way out :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a wonderful experience for old friends reconnecting for a weekend! Amazing spot! The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were ideal for my family of 6 adults (3 couples). By far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The photos don’t do the great room justice! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make big family breakfasts each morning. The hosts were very responsive - we needed their help after 10pm one night and were able to get ahold of them within a few minutes. I would recommend this Airbnb.

A beautiful home, ADK lodge-like decor was so well done. Kitchen fully stocked. Incredible clean and comfortable with great layout and lots of space. Great balcony for morning coffee. Also a very convenient location for nearby hiking, biking/outdoor activities. Close proximity to town of Lake Placid. David & Sandy were incredibly responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend and plan to rent again in the future!
