Davides place is nothing shy of a palace. Beautiful, artistic, perfectly located, wonderful views, gorgeous rooftop, stunning artwork and helpful and kind hosts. They are so proud of this place which you can see in every single level of detail. They were very generous and kind. Definitely definitely stay here no questions asked. Top 2 Airbnb I’ve ever ever stayed in!

Das Haus ist einfach wunderbar. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Hauptplatz und bis hinüber zum Wasser. Sogar für das Frühstück am ersten Tag war gesorgt, der Kühlschrank war mit Wasser, Orangensaft, Eier, Butter, Speck und Milch ausgestattet. Auch Brot, süße Aufstriche und Kaffee sowie kleine Snacks waren vorhanden. einfach eine herzliche Überraschung zum Empfang. Alles war wunderbar. Das Haus ist unmittelbar neben dem schönen Hafen und tollen Restaurants. In 5 min ist mal an der Fähre. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal! Danke

Incredible property that far exceeded expectations! Homemade cake waiting for us and other extra provisions dropped off! Beautifully renovated but with original character and features,and magnificent views from the roof.Stunning location -one of the most picturesque parts of Malta. There is a beautiful church at the back of the property too. Extremely helpful hosts to all questions and quick to respond. Highlight was definitely the blue grotto caves boat trip, Maltese architecture and also the beautiful harbour views where we stayed. Highly recommend this stunning property and also Malta!

Da Giovanni exceeded expectations. The photos of this place are fully representative of what you will find in person. This house is beautiful and is a fun and relaxing space. Everything worked properly and it was very comfortable. We were there in late February and the sun on the roof terraces was divine. If you enjoy the sound of ancient church bells tolling all around you, you are in for a treat. The location in Birgu is really great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of Malta's busier areas and Davide's place is right on the main square which is great for people watching and conveniently located eateries and tiny markets. It is very quiet at night. Davide and Barbara were very easy to work with and were quick to answer texts. I highly recommend Da Giovanni in Birgu.

What a lovely house - so much accommodation - kitchen/ diner, living room, 2 lovely bedrooms with en-suite, a roof terrace and washing machine & drying area. There were views from two rooms over the central square of the town. The host left lots of useful food items and a freshly baked cake. Highly recommended!!
