The Hendley Market Lofts are a historic landmark of Galveston! Located directly on the Strand, some lofts face the Strand and the others face the Harbor. Many restaurants, shops and night spots are walkable . There are trolleys that travel from the Strand to the Seawall. Rent a golf cart or bike and explore the island. This is a perfect location for family get togethers, special event lodging, Cruise Ship Stays, The Opera House, The Elissa, Dolphin Tours, museums and much more. The 3rd floor of the Hendley Market Loft has 3 separate lofts. Each loft has a full kitchen, living area and bathroom. There is a open common area with a historical glass skylight, glass floor and open areas offering seating and gathering.

Beautiful historical lofts! We had a wonderful time staying here! The place was amazing had lots of antiques with modern fixtures and the bathrooms were very nice! The kitchens were beautiful. The host was very helpful and responsive! We would stay their again! The only thing I will say is there are no elevator and if you have elderly it can be a little tuff but with that being said we would stay here again! Very close to the beach and all the shops and food! You do have to pay for parking on the street or find a free parking spot during the day, but parking is free after 6pm. We loved the lofts great stay!!

The Galveston Strand and Harborside Boardwalk are walkable from the HML's. There are trolleys that travel from the Strand to the Beach areas. There are golf cart rentals, bike rentals and Ubers.
This is a perfect location for family get togethers, special event lodging, Cruise Ship Stays, The Opera House, The Elissa, Dolphin Tours, The Ocean Star Museum and much, much more.
Located directly on The Strand. Walk to shops, eateries, and The Opera House from the fabulous & historic Hendley Market Lofts.
There is street parking for free at night 6pm-9am. During the day there is free parking a couple blocks away and there is paid street parking (9am-6pm) for about $2+/hour. If you pay for street parking in the Strand area the code you will see is 5689 and that is good for the entire Strand area. So, if you move your car to another area 5689 you do not need to pay again. There are only two areas in Galveston that are paid... the Strand (5689) and Seawall (5004). Both are different areas with different area numbers... There are also lots of 2 hour "free" parking. The App is PayByPhone, so you may want to download it prior to your visit.
