Amazing private place with incredible views but still close to town. Dean was great at communication and had all the little things in the house that shows he cares about the renter's experience.

Serene house in the hills above S. Granby with outstanding views of the Rockies. Peaceful and private, this house is has a very well equipped kitchen if you like to cook. Despite being up and out of town, its close to City Market for groceries. Light and bright, this house is just lovely with comfy master bed (we didn't use the 2nd bedroom or TV). Good internet service if you need to work. Super clean, extremely nice hosts, this place was one of my favorite AirBnB's ever. Perched high up on a hill this house boasts outstanding views with a enormous eastern sky of Rocky Mountain National Park and surroundings with amazing sunrises and sunsets. We loved the 75 acres of privacy, too. Its easy drive to Grand Lake, Winter Park, Granby and Hot Sulphur Springs for a soak. If you are looking for a quiet and gorgeous house in the mountains, this is your place.

This is an excellent place to stay in this area, particularly if you value some peace and privacy. The place is very clean and Dean is a very proactive and helpful host. The house has a very well-equipped kitchen and is very well set up for an extended stay. If you're debating whether to stay here or in town, I would suggest this house because it offers privacy and is still very convenient.

I would highly recommend this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful and the views were amazing! We had plenty of space to explore and had the area to ourselves! Yet if we wanted to run into town it was only a 5-10 minute drive. The kids loved the cabin and especially liked the loft bed! We will be back and will recommend to all our friends!

Our family of six (4 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful stay! The cabin was easy to find, starting with a quick drive off HWY 40 on a beautiful country road, offering a perfect balance of seclusion, privacy, and proximity to everything Grand County has to offer. If you’re trying to decide between a condo or Dean’s cabin, pick the cabin. You won’t be disappointed! The kids loved the freedom to play outside anytime they wanted to, without having to worry. Being secluded made for a quintessential mountain experience, with spectacular views of Winter Park Ski Resort and the Continental Divide, surrounded by snowcapped peaks. Dean went above and beyond the call of hospitality. He was responsive and accommodating, knowledgable and friendly, always ready to help anyway possible. We can’t thank him enough for everything, and sincerely appreciate all the help to make our trip a memorable one! We look forward to staying in his cabin whenever visiting the area.
