Super convenient for our visit, though that meant on a primary road, so there tended to be a lot of road noise… not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of. Even so, I’d happily stay here again. Was super cozy and comfortable.

Our stay at "The Mudroom or Charm 401" was average. The house was clean, the linens looked brand new as did most of the furniture and decorations. some of the board/games games had never even been opened or used. The charcoal grill and utensils we used was brand new with the charcoal and wood. The communication with the hosts was excellent and they responded almost immediately to every message. There was many aspects of this stay that were 5/5 or above expectations. The location is on a busy street with a train nearby that you can hear all through the night. The streetlights are also on all night and the curtains let in a lot of the light which made sleeping a challenge. The shower is quite small with no room to set clothes down and the shower is half open with no door and water sprayed everywhere into the room. I am 6'0 and had to stand 3 inches from the shower head to fit. The oven is the size of a microwave and doesn't fit much in it. There is no stove top to cook as well.

This space was lovely and comfortable. We put a couple kids on the living area floor; they wanted to be together and all 3 kids wouldn't comfortably fit on the second bed. They slept well on the floor, so all was well. Being there over the weekend, we had no interaction with the real estate business that shares the downstairs, but I feel that might have made things a little uncomfortable (especially if we'd needed to keep the kids extra quiet), as well as not having a way to secure the apartment upstairs from anyone who came in downstairs. The decor was nice and the beds comfortable (very thick memory foam; you sink right in). Some street noise from the front bedroom if you aren't used to it, but not enough to prevent sleep. Some oddities to mention: sloped ceiling in the slower makes it a define one-person shower. No shower door - put a towel on the floor; it gets slippery. Had to sit on bathroom floor to do makeup at the only mirror. Instructed not to flush toilet paper.

This was my second stay here. This place is extremely comfortable. The bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve slept on away from my own. The location is convenient to everything. It is well lit at night. I’ve really enjoyed staying here!
