This place was so cozy that we never wanted to leave. It was so peaceful and cozy and we loved the layout and ambience of the home and it was just a great experience!! And Kristen and her family were so welcoming and inviting!!

This wonderful place is exactly as described. The only problem is, words and pictures do not do it justice. We booked this quiet retreat for the entire month of February, and ended up staying an additional week because we just couldn't bring ourselves to leave. Morning coffee on the front porch, afternoon naps on the swing on the back porch. We were looking for solitude, and this place delivered. Kristen is an excellent host who quickly responded when needed, which wasn't often because this farmhouse lacks nothing. Oh, and in addition to being home to the handsome Duck Duck, the beautiful pond has some very respectable large mouth bass! I hope to visit again.

The place was easy to find with owners directions that were given. Besides our first night, the stay was great. A waterline burst from the freeze. The problem resolved very quickly and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay.

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend! Everything you need to cook, modern appliances, lovely lay-out and a beautiful dining area. We really enjoyed how peaceful and private it was. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stay.

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing location, this is it. It was a great place, decorated for the holidays, open kitchen area, peaceful stroll down to the pond where duck duck was there to greet us. It has ample space for four adults, my only caution would be the hot water. There is only a 20 gallon water heater, so with three people getting cleaned up at the end of the day, it was an issue for us. Our work around was one person shower in the evening, one in the morning, and I would get up 90 minutes before the morning person woke or stay up 90 minutes after the evening person to get cleaned up. We also had unusually cold nights which could have played a part.
