Kiani Skoulas Apartments is a small, family-run hotel, located in the area of Stavros in Chania. Located in an ideal spot, with a swimming pool which has a wonderful unobstructed view of the sea and furnished terraces where our guests can relax day and night. It is an ideal place for a peaceful and serene holiday. If you are looking for tranquility and relaxation, you have just found what you have been looking for! Stavros beach is just 3km away. *Shared swimming pool *Free parking Our classic 2 bedroom apartment is about 70 sqm and is located on the ground floor. It can accommodate up to 4 people as it has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, while the other has twin beds with the possibility of a double on request. They are air-conditioned and have wardrobes. They have a balcony door, either a window or both, with beautiful views of either the garden or the sea. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. The kitchen, living and dining area is open plan, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob and fridge. Alongside you will find an espresso and filter machine, kettle, toaster and everything necessary for preparing your meals. Stepping out on the terrace, the view will reward you to the maximum and your eyes will be lost in the endless blue, the sound of the wind and the peace you will feel mentally. Beyond the communal swimming pool, there is direct access to a pier with a staircase to the sea. The green-blue waters will delight you!

Le logement est situé dans un environnement calme et apaisant. La vue sur la mer est juste magnifique. Balcon très agréable. Logement très propre, très bonne literie, très bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous recommandons ce logement. Merci.

Un cadre exceptionnel, une vue imprenable, ce lieu est rare et précieux. Le logement est très agréable, spacieux et confortable. Nous avons eu un gros retard dû à un imprévu fâcheux et notre hôte s'est montré très disponible et d'une gentillesse touchante pour nous aider, un accueil et une propension à rendre service qui font chaud au coeur quand on est dans la difficulté. Je recommande chaleureusement ce lieu si vous avez envie de visiter la très jolie ville de Chania et ses environs.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Eleana. Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Badezimmer ist ganz neu gemacht und sieht richtig schön aus. Leider konnten wir wegen der starken Wellen nicht an allen Tagen ins Meer. Der Pool ist aber auch super zum Entspannen und es gibt in kurzer Entfernung auch einen Sandstrand an dem das Baden möglich war. Die Restaurant Empfehlungen von Eleana waren auch immer top. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Cute little flat, good communication from host. The pool is amazing as is the little swimming spot in the ocean. Lovely view. Sadly we did not get to swim there because the ocean was very rough. It’s a decent drive to anything so you must have a car. The bathroom is beautiful and recently remodeled it seems. The photos did not show both bedrooms, and the description said a double bed and two singles but it was actually 4 singles which was a bit disappointing. Also the kitchen is not pictured, which is very small and does not have any necessities like a microwave, salt and pepper, or coffee. Overall it was a good stay though. Would recommend!

Stavros is a dreamy sandy cove and a great spot for a relaxing holiday, it has two beaches which are organized with umbrellas, sunbeds and refreshments. It is a popular summer destination among locals, but the restrained tourist development helps the area to keep its wild and unique beauty.
Around the area you will also find several tavernas, cafes and several small hotels. It is a small semi-circular lagoon, perfectly protected from the local winds. The bay has white sand and turquoise shallow waters. The contrast of the wild mountain landscape with the beautiful calm beach, make Stavros a unique place for swimming.
The western beach is slightly quieter and, weather permitting, is an excellent choice. Don't leave without taking a walk on the small peninsula that separates the two beaches, as it hosts the ruins of the Venetian quarry where the limestone was quarried for the construction of the walls of the city of Chania.
A characteristic feature of the area is the camel-shaped Mount Vardis, which rises opposite the village harbor with the cave of Stavros. It was on this mountain that the scenes of the film 'Zorba the Greek' were filmed, where Anthony Quinn danced the famous sirtaki in 1964. Back then, the Cross was just a small fishing village. Today the area has grown into a favorite tourist resort.
Next to the Cross there are many beaches for swimming. At the popular sandy beach of Kalathas (6 km south) you can go windsurfing and take windsurfing lessons as well as try water skiing, water games, canoeing and diving. There is a restaurant on the beach and volleyball facilities. Tersanas beach (5km southwest) is another alternative for swimming and relaxation. Marathi beach (10km south-east) is also sandy and has a bar and café.
