This house was simply perfect! Eleni is so responsive and helpful. We traveled in Sep as we were hoping for cooler weather and a quieter experience and got exactly what we had hoped for. Eleni has thought of simply everything,a very well equipt kitchen,toiletries,outdoor shower,and amazing outdoor wood oven. The house is even nicer than the photos, the terrace is wonderful for lazy breakfasts and evening dining.We travelled with our two sons (age 11 and 16)and they also loved everything about the house and the area. Stavros was quiet, the beach near the house (Zorba) is a calm beautiful bay and wonderful for swimming. We hiked up to Lera cave one evening and watched the sun set while looking out over the bay, it was sunning! We also went to Kalathas beach twice in the evening (easier parking!) and swam while watching the sun set, it was spectacular! Chania ia a short drive and lovely to wander in the markets at the old town port area.We would return to Levanda home in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely stay at Eleni’s place. It’s in a great location for being near the beach and exploring the surrounding area, including Chania. The beach is a very short walk away and is a perfect swimming beach and very family friendly. The house was clean and comfortable with a great outdoor area for having meals outside. Eleni is a lovely host :)

I believe we must have been the first guests in a while. The house was quite musty smelling and the inside of the cupboards were quite smelly. Dishes and pans were dirty and needed to be cleaned before use. No attempt for welcome was made…There was no coffee, sugar or toiletries. Everything was a leftover from previous renters. When asked if there was sugar or coffee - we were asked to go to the grocery store because Eleni hadn’t had time to get them before our stay. There was a 5 night minimum stay and would’ve expected more from a host.

What an amazing house! In fabulous location. 2 min walk from the fantastic stavros Beach, with cafe and a nice resturant. There are actually several resturants at the beach but we were early season so not all of them open, which actuallywas great for us! Only a 4 min walk to local shop,and then 5 min drive to mini supermarket. 15 minsdrive from the airport and 10 mins froma local town with bigger supermarkets and shops. The house had everything you needed and was lovely and relaxing. Laid out very well. I would 100 percent stay at levanda house again. Amazing view of stavros rock and also could see the mountains with their snow peaks too on a sunny day (april). Eleni was very helpful with recommendations and responded quickly. 10 out of 10.
