Urah was very helpful, house was lovely, a comfortable place to stay, a lovely private pool area and beautiful balcony with beautiful views, I would recommend Lubys place for a lovely comfortable and quiet stay, I would also recommend a car rental to get around.

Fair value for price and Luby was a very responsive host doing her best to resolve any issues that arose and also proactively checking in daily to ensure there were no issues. She was also very accommodating when our plans changed last minute and I appreciate that greatly. Pros: Good space for my family of 4. AC and WiFi worked well. Many places in Zanzibar and Tanzania in general are having very frequent power cuts. The bungalows have a backup generator that will keep essentials running, but for the most part power was much more stable than other places I’ve stayed. Pretty and peaceful garden with nice warm pool. Cons: As mentioned by others location is somewhat isolated with no restaurants and just 1 small shop nearby. It’s a good 20 minute drive into Stonetown so a car or taxi is mandatory. Also there is no view from the bungalows and the beach access is about 5 mins walk. Overall if you have a car or driver and need something more than just a hotel room, it’s a good value.

What an amazing host! Luby ensures guests are well looked after. The hospitality of her team is incredible. I would highly recommend this wonderful place.
