Spent 4 days at Camilla's place, and was a great base to travel around Florence and Prato. Has 2 large double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms..linen was very clean. Kitchen amenities were fine to make a simple dinner with. Only 10 min walk to Prato Station, which was then 20 mins into Florence. Prato is a bit sleepy during the day, but becomes busier in the evening. Recommend Camillas place...she was very responsive, welcoming and her home is lovely!

Casa bellissima e pulita. La Host gentilissima ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per il check in. Se dovessimo tornare a Prato sicuramente mi piacerebbe tornare a soggiornare qui.

This is a very nice apartment which is centrally located and also close to the train station. We prefer not to actually stay in places where there are large numbers of tourists so this worked well for us and we could jump on the regular train service (2 or 3 an hour during the day) into Florence very easily and it was not expensive (approx. £5 per person day return - 20 minutes journey). This meant that we had a much nicer apartment than we would have had in Florence and Prato is an attractive place itself which is worth a look around and with lots of eating out options - great for getting a feel of a more normal Italian town/city and everyone was very friendly.
