Home from home, comfortable furnishings, beautiful views, Very peaceful at night with sounds of the country. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. The separate paddocks for dog running were safe, secure and very well maintained. The property is part of a courtyard terrace, the walls are solid, but is attached to a working laundry room, we did have difficulty on occasions of people walking past and setting our dog off, so we were a bit self conscious of spoiling others peace, but as other guests had dogs I’m sure they understood! Am only mentioning for awareness. A couple of issues in the cottage need attention, but the owners are working through these.

Lovely stay in a lovely location. Peaceful property but only a five minute drive from the very good York Park and Ride. Very comfy beds and all the amenities you would want.

From start to finish communication was excellent. The accommodation was perfect. Homely and a nice touch having tea and coffee available upon arrival. Husband was extremely happy with sky tv!! Perfect for exploring York and surrounding areas, and to come back and relax in the evening.

We had a great stay this house is very well equiped with everything you could need. It is set in beautiful surroundings and is very quiet and peaceful. We would love to return

Beautiful accommodation and surrounding area. We enjoyed sitting in the garden area with a glass of wine watching he fish. Good base for exploring York.
