Dan’s place was very cozy, spacious and absolutely gorgeous! Everything was very well organized and clean and all of our guests enjoyed our stay at Dan’s place. Dan was also prompt to all messages and very kind. A+++ Airbnb host!! Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway in Manistee. Thank you!!

Dan's lake house is perfectly situated between a quiet little lake for paddling and watching sunrises, and Lake Michigan for the beach and sunsets. Beautiful location and felt very private, even though there are other homes right around it. The house itself is clean and very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He has furnished it with plenty of kitchen ware, and the beds were comfortable. There are ample seating and eating areas. We had a beautiful breeze going through the house. He even allows access to a large garage where you can store your kayaks or bikes and feel safe. The deck is great for relaxing and looking out over Bar Lake. Although we didn't use them, there was a grill and fire pit for more outdoor enjoyment. I would definitely return if we were in the area and needing a large home for friends or family.

This location is absolutely beautiful, and everything you could imagine a great stay on the lake could be. The house itself is amazing. Everything is clean, tidy, and welcoming. There’s plenty of beds for large groups, and the kitchen is big enough for a great spread of food. The property has the perfect amount of space on the backyard for activities of all sorts. The provided kayak and Jon boat were perfect for a great experience on the water as well. Nothing but great things for this location. If you’re looking for a lake house to stay at with a large group, this is the perfect spot.
