John's home is very very comfortable and beautiful. We especially loved the French styled kitchen and bathroom. So much thought has gone into styling and furnishing this apartment - it was immediately comforting and inviting. The freshly baked bread was a treat and very welcome after our long drive. The location is also perfect. We had no problems with parking. Thank you John for sharing your home with us! We greatly enjoyed our stay, Maria and Sam

While the apartment is somewhat small (which was very clear before I rented the apartment and what we wanted), it has been updated and upgraded to a very high standard. The location cannot be beat, as it is close to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. The next time my wife and I are staying in Bristol we hope this place is available.

We were welcomed with a homemade lemon blueberry loaf cake on the kitchen table - wow! It was delicious. John's apartment is charming - a beautiful renovation in keeping with the historical period of the house (we visited Blithewold Mansion where we saw similar wallpaper!) but with every modern comfort and convenience and many interesting details. The apartment was spotless and everything worked great - wifi, air conditioning (though we didn't need it), TV. It was easy to get in with the key lockbox and we had no problem finding on-street parking. The location is excellent - a charming quiet neighborhood but easily walkable to the many restaurants and coffee shops in town. I didn't know anything about Bristol, R.I., but it is a lovely town that we hope to visit again.

John is a wonderful host. The place was immaculate and even included homey touches like freshly baked cake upon arrival! Place was incredibly central with o many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The perfect weekend getaway.
