Amazing place with some awesome views! Exactly like the pictures on the listing :) You can see some beautiful sunrises if weather is good! Pemba is an amazing host, extremely helpful and kind! Would love to visit again and stay for a longer time!

When I mentioned wanting to get out of Kathmandu for some fresh air/cooler climate, Pemba told me about his hotel located in the hills of Nagarkot, where the monsoon rains lulled me to sleep several nights. I enjoyed the walk ability, lovely cafes, and learning more about Nepal through simple conversations… Everything in my stay was as described, and Pemba was so patient with me as I fidgeted into this new space (country)—after six months in India, that is—and as I made my one day at-a-time alterations to my reservation changes as I figured out my next steps for traveling in Nepal, and home. Would recommend Pemba; he is friendly, easy going, like family, and goes above and beyond as your host—a Nepali standard and pride! Enjoy your stay in Nagarkot! ~ Brittany

Pemba’s place is Nagarkot is really a special place. I am so glad I found it after staying at another home of his in Pashupati. The apartment was clean and comfortable the bed was comfortable. And the view from out the window and the private balcony was just breathtaking. They made delicious food and chai on request and were always available if I needed anything, advice, laundry service etc. The area is VERY beautiful, with some nice restaurants connected to larger resorts to try. I stayed here 5 days and explored the area allot and I have to say I didn’t see a hotel/ resort I would rather be staying at. Also there are lots of nice walking around the area. Weekend in the neighborhood was a little nosy in the evening with music but that was just the nature of the place which is a getaway from Kathmandu. I went alone but it would be a great place to go with a group of friends as well. I would absolutely stay here again, it was actually hard to leave it was so peaceful.
