I honestly can't say enough about this place. It is just gorgeous. The property is beautiful, the cottages are stunning and the feeling you get is one of total relaxation. Brendan and co. have thought of every little detail in order for you to have a wonderful stay. Perfect place to take your pups as well. Our dog, Bront, played with Milo, one Brendan's dogs, for hours. He swam in the dam, we took him for walks around the property as well. We did not want to leave! Neither did Bront. On arrival we were given a delightful, traditional Xhosa bread (I forget the name now) and the hot tub fire was lit. The bread lasted us the whole weekend. After chatting to Brendan about the farm and the reason us being there was for our honeymoon, he gave a us a bottle of MCC! How sweet?! This place strikes a perfect balance between comfort and elegance, without zero feelings of pretentiousness. We absolutely loved it! Thank you, Brendan and Greg, and all staff and all pups.

This Airbnb was the highlight of our road trip around South Africa! My boyfriend & I spent a blissful 5 days at Brendan and Dale’s beautiful farm and it surpassed all our expectations. It’s a little slice of paradise in the middle of the countryside! Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, and the farm had so many things to keep us busy (two pools, a pizza oven, barbecue pits, walking routes and hot tubs - not to mention the friendly dogs that were always by our side). There were lots of thoughtful little touches throughout, such as homemade produce (jams, oils, olives & pizza bases) available to buy and an honesty box system to take any drinks we fancied out of the fridges. Montagu itself also has a number of lovely little cafés and farm shops, and check-in was seamless thanks to Brendan’s helpful videos. We would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you like stargazing. 10/10!

Our stay at Brendan and Dale was everything we could’ve wished for. They really thought of everything, there was wood for the braai and hottub, the kitchen was very complete, lovely small biscuits to have with a cup of coffee, a big candle to light at night. The place itself was wonderfully decorated and while we were there, it was very cool even though the outside temperature was 43 degrees! Even though you have ‘neighbors’, you don’t see them or hear them. It feels very private and the views are insane. Staff is also very very friendly and really wants to make sure everything is perfect. We would be more than happy to come back again!
