Had an amazing stay at Mazwil. Would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Great spot at the dam. The view there is spectacular.

Gaby’s place was beyond relaxing. Really enjoyed our time here. The scenery is breathtaking and the house had more than enough space for the six of us.

We enjoyed our stay. The children had a lovely time in the pool and the dam. Walking around the property was scenic with birdlife to keep us busy. For those who are noise sensitive, the main road (which is thankfully out of sight) can still be heard at the house. Our group had mixed feelings about this. The house is beautiful but the wooden floors upstairs aren't sound insulated, so sound does travel and again the noise sensitive might notice someone moving around/ talking if they are trying to sleep. Beautiful location and more to do in the surrounds than what we had time for over one long weekend. Having a dishwasher (and even a washing machine) available was definitely a bonus.

This was a beautiful location. We went with 2 dogs and a child and it was a lot of fun. There are many wine farms and restaurants in the surrounding areas, we wish we could have stayed longer. The private lake was stunning and we even saw 2 tortoises on the property. The house was very large with beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with a lot of cutlery, pots, pans, and the works. Two notes for other guests: the area is not fenced, so be careful with the doggies and kids roaming. We found there was reception with Vodacom, not MTN. I suggest downloading TV series in advance onto your laptop or phone if the kids get bored. That said, there were quite a few boardgames. Overall, stunning stay I can highly recommend it.
