Incredible house with a great amenities. You could stay here and never leave the house if you didn't want to. Fairly secluded location, but also only a 5 minute drive from downtown Blowing Rock. Nick was a great host with specific instructions on how everything in the house worked (Sauna, Hot tub, etc.) and promptly answered any questions you had.

First off, Nick is a friend..BUT I expect nothing but the best from this guy. He was a fantastic host and provided an experience unlike any other Airbnb I've encountered. The care put into every detail of Moon-A Chalet is not to be taken for granted, as it made our stay all the more welcoming and warm. Perfect for a relaxing trip to celebrate our 8th anniversary! Not only did we enjoy this beautiful home, but we also received great pre-check-in and check-out instructions that helped make the process smooth and ensured that we had everything we needed. We recommend this home to anyone seeking a uniquely romantic, luxe getaway in the High Country. It's close to so many great attractions, like App Ski and downtown Blowing Rock, as well as several hiking spots that we loved. Though we spent the majority of our time relaxing in the hot tub, we are so excited to return and breathe in that fresh mountain air! Thank you, Nick!

Nick’s Chalet was as beautiful and picturesque in person as it appeared on the site. Nick thought of every little thing that my wife and I could have wanted for our four-day getaway. Nick was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay and prior to our arrival. We felt as if we were staying at a private 5 star retreat in the woods. The spa and hot tub were excellent ways to spend a rainy day and after a long hike. Proximity to downtown Blowing Rock was also very convenient. His attention to detail is prevalent and was much appreciated. We can’t wait to plan another getaway from the kids and escape back to Moon-A-Chalet.

Nick’s moon-a-chalet was everything it was stated to be! Top notch property. Far enough away to feel secluded, but close enough to town for all it has to offer. Great great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Moon-A-Chalet was exactly as stunning in person as it was in the photos! The interior is impeccably decorated and well designed. Everywhere you look you find natural beauty, comfort, and zen. Little things like the dimmable salt lamps flanking the comfortable bed, the essential oil sprays, the Nest hand soaps and lovely smelling candles were such pleasing touches of luxury! The hot tub was wonderful! The deck spaces offered peaceful places to relax outside. Instructions were clear and Nick was very friendly and communicative.
