We loved Cringley Cottage. The location was perfect for all our walks and the pubs were a welcome treat at the end of a day on the hills. The cottage had a lovely, cosy vibe and we can’t wait to return to make the most of the garden and log burner! Also loved that we could bring the dogs along too.

We loved our stay at Cringley Cottage. We went for a weekday getaway and found the place to be very peaceful and a perfect place to unwind. We loved the fact that within 100m of the front door we could be walking through open fields in a beautiful valley. There were a few nice looking pubs in the village that we would have loved to eat in, alas our furry friend is too high maintenence so we took our own pre-made food and warmed it up to save having to cook. On a night, we put some music on the bluetooth speaker and settled infront of the fire with some classic board games and a few rounds of jenga! 10/10 would recommend

Had a wonderful couple of days staying in Ruth’s beautiful cottage. Everything was perfect, even the weather! The house is right in the town, but very quiet . We had a couple of nice meals at the local hostelries, (White Rose Hotel and King’s Arms) and would highly recommend the Bake-Well café.
