We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa. Very quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the main village about 1.5 miles away. We rented a car which is needed. Mathieu has been brilliant for any local information. Kalymnos is a beautiful and still somewhat unspoilt Greek Island. Than You

An awful experience with villa and owner who was totally unprofessional and insulting. The worst experience with Airbnb ever. Problems with the AC In one bedroom, it was filthy and made chugging noises during the night so it woke you up. Problems with cistern and pump which would go off every 5 minutes but at night it wakes you up too. The owner asked would we like to cancel rather than fix the issues, forget about properly maintaining the property in the first place.. This house was not as listed at all. Sunbed covers were filthy, many mosquito nets were ripped, the kitchen has a 2 hob plug in ring you'd find in a studio not a so-called luxury villa. There was no information sheet and the owner was irritated at being contacted. After asking the owner to fix these issues, he told us to "get the f*** out of his house" and then proceeded to insult us. Disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour. We left after 3 days after booking a week and had to find somewhere else. Avoid. Just awful.

This was the most peaceful, perfect villa we could’ve chosen for a holiday. The villa was absolutely gorgeous, the views were incredible and our stay couldn’t have been any more perfect. Mathieu was very responsive, answered any questions that we had very quickly. It isn’t too far from the first taverna or local shop, perfect for a morning walk and a pastry for breakfast. Masouri is a little further, but walkable, especially first thing in a morning/last thing at night. Taxis were easy to get, and very reasonable. We visited the lovely island of Telendos for a wedding, the boats were easy to get from Myrties port. If you want a peaceful place to stay, but in a walkable distance with little going on, this is the perfect location. There is plenty to do in Masouri, and the restaurants are gorgeous. We will definitely consider returning to this villa if we visit Kalymnos again. Thank you Mathieu for a lovely stay.

Située sur une île encore sauvage, au développement maitrisé, cette très jolie villa vue sur mer est simplement magnifique. Elle est très bien équipée. Je recommande de suivre les conseils et indications du propriétaire pour rejoindre ce lieu paisible, isolé de l’agitation du port de Pothia qui offre une juste réalité de ce que nous imaginons de la vie grecque avec ses traditions, son accueil chaleureux, sa gastronomie typique et sa bonhomie méditerranéenne. La location d’une petite voiture (pas chère du tout ) est recommandée. Le voyage en lui même est déjà une belle aventure. N’hésitez pas. Je suis très heureux de pouvoir partager cette très belle expérience de vacances. Cette île aux parois vertigineuses est le paradis de l’escalade sportive; c’est dire si les points de vue sont majestueux.
