Oh my goodness what to say; how we will miss the lake house! What a magical place to spend a few days with our adult children .. it's a perfect blend of quite luxurious ( in that everything you could think of ' needing' is thoughtfully provided for you ) and yet it also feels so homely. Meals were cooked, wine and beers drunk and card games in abundance while we chatted and laughed and re connected to one another in this gorgeous space. The young all swam each morning in the '' refreshing'' water and then ran up to the hot tub as their reward. We spotted the otter once and hummingbirds too. The views will stay long etched in our memories and we wish we could have stay longer. Thank you for sharing Rhonda .. I've never found it so hard to leave an Airbnb property!

Our stay at Rhonda and Ed's place was absolutely amazing! The arrival gift basket was a very thoughtful touch and the house and property felt immediately like home. All amenities were described perfectly and our group had a fantastic relaxing vacation. Will definitely book again in the future.

We stayed at Rhonda’s place as a family group of five (3 teenage girls). From the moment of arrival, we truly felt like we were on vacation having arrived at the most beautiful of surroundings, the home under a canopy of tall Evergreens and overlooking the beautiful Lake Cowichan. The place is well equipped with water toys and small watercraft for the kids (and the kid in the adults) to enjoy. We were so lucky to get the most amazing weather in what was still, technically, winter. The girls swam in the water and bathed in the 23°C sun. Overall, a great spring break getaway and would love to return in the summer. Thanks Rhonda!

Our stay at this lakehouse was a wonderful experience and the location could not possible be better if you're looking for a beautiful lakeside spot anywhere on Vancouver Island. Our group only had three couples so we had a lot of extra space (each couple got their own floor), but everyone in our group had an amazing time. The place looks exactly like the pictures and the dock access and hot tub were the highlights of our stay. There's a great amount of privacy / calm if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with great wifi if you need to check in on anything. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Rhonda was an amazing, helpful and responsive host!
