The apartment was attractively decorated, and there were a lot of helpful little things, such as snacks and games. The kitchen had a good amount of space and was very well equipped -- I was impressed that decaf coffee and a vegetable peeler were available. The bathroom was conveniently designed and modern, with spare toiletries to cover any I might have forgotten. The living room and bedroom were plenty large, and the mattress was very comfortable. I was glad to have a good soul food restaurant (mostly take-out) right downstairs, but there were surprisingly few dining options within several blocks, considering that it's a downtown location. On Saturday night, there was loud street noise intermittently almost all night, with very loud motorcycles and cars racing down the street, and sirens. I guess that situation is unusual, since it was fairly quiet the other two nights. Mia was very friendly and responded quickly to each question I had.

We stayed here after our wedding as part of a mini moon and had a lovely stay! Check in and check out were smooth and easy with clear instructions and Mia was very accessible when I had questions. She gave several good recommendations of things to do in the area. Was also really touched by the sweet things the host did to prep for our stay. She had decorations up to celebrate our recent wedding and was extremely thoughtful. There were also lots of snacks that she had layed out for us. I wasn't expecting how much natural light was in the apartment which was especially appreciated with how rainy the weather was the week we stayed. There was loud music playing several nights from the bar downstairs. We had been warned about this by both Mia and the comments prior to booking our stay. My partner and I are pretty heavy sleepers and so didn't really bother us, but would just be important for others to know if they are sensitive about that.
