This is a wonderful lakeside cabin. The yard is well landscaped and provides excellent privacy from the road and neighbors. The area is gorgeous, a short half mile walk from Long Point Park and also a nice walk from Aurora Brewing Company and Long Point Winery. The long bedroom off the kitchen provides a wonderful view of the lake through giant windows along one wall and a door right out to the deck. The bathroom off of this bedroom is very nicely designed as well, though note the water pressure is somewhat low in the shower. The other full bath had fine water pressure. The living room again has wonderful lake views with a sliding door out to the deck. Kayaks are provided and it is a lovely short kayak trip over to Long Point Park, just under 3 miles one way to kayak north to the Wells College boathouse, and about 2.25 miles across the lake to Thirsty Owl and Cayuga Ridge wineries. A gas grill and a charcoal grill are also available for some outdoor cooking. Brett’s father owns this cabin and he met us at the property for checkin, showed us around the cabin and property and gave us all of the information we needed. Brett handles communication through the airbnb app and he responds to questions very quickly. The cabin is not super fancy (hence cabin) but everything was clean and we didn’t see any insects of any kind inside. I would absolutely rent this cabin again for another weekend on the lake!

The stay at Cayuga lake was great!! Brett's father greeted us at check-in and he was so kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. Our group was getting out of NYC for the weekend and looking for a relaxing place to stay and this was perfect! It's right on the water, a great dock to relax on, a large patio/ deck and a grill. We were all set! Thanks for the great stay, we will be returning next year!

This house on the lake has a great view of Cayuga Lake. It’s a real plus that it is pet friendly. The lack of cleanliness and spiders inside the house cut our stay short by 3 days. The dock is a great place to sunbathe, watch the sunset and star gaze. The decor needs updated, overstuffed chair and sofa is not comfortable but the mattresses are very comfortable. Low water pressure in the updated smaller bathroom. Quick and clear responses to any questions we had.

This on the lake cottage is amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for, week away from the city that was calm, isolated, and on a body of water. Brett's father was very helpful, and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is dark, so if you like to cook, we wore a headlamp and it worked great. Thanks for a great vacation.
