Just perfect!

A perfect location- could not be better- both for Weymouth town centre & the sea front/ harbour. Weymouth is a fab holiday location, even out of season Colin’s lovely house is wonderfully welcoming, comfortable, clean & well-equipped. We immediately felt at home. Colin dashed over to our rescue when a power cut prevented the central hearing from coming on & quickly sorted it for us. The house is old (18thc) but beautifully renovated. Doorframes are low & stairs are steep so beware! But don’t let that put you off! We spent a fantastic Christmas here , cooking our own Christmas dinner, bringing most utensils we thought we’d need with us- but most were already there in the very well equipped kitchen! Without hesitation, if/when we return to Weymouth, we’d choose this great place to stay.

We had a great stay at Colin’s house in Weymouth. The location was perfect right next to the beach, harbour & centre of the town. The house was clean & well equipped. Thanks for letting us use your lovely house.

Great little place to stay in the heart of Weymouth. We were a party of 4 Adults & 3 young children. The house is very tiny, but has everything you need. The host Colin is a great communicator, any issues we had he dealt with straight away. All the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed, well stocked with cleaning products. The 3 flights of stairs are particularly steep, so as I slept in the loft room, I climbed these several times ( allowed for an extra ice-cream on the beach :) ) As the property is in the thick of town with pubs close by, it can be a bit noisy at night with pub goers and traffic. Parking is the main issue here, but we bit the bullet and paid £15 per day to park locally at the Pavilion, just a few minutes walk from the property. Colin did advise that there is free of charge parking in side roads, around 10-15 minutes walk away. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and would return with no hesitation.
