The beach was incredible and the night sky was breath taking. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place was very rough. We could not find a single sheet that wasn’t stained, there was soap scum all in the shower and it was very stained, there was old bars of soap in the shower, overall not a clean environment. On our first morning at the property the host’s relatives showed up unannounced without the host asking us for consent. It scared us so badly that we left the property early and had to get a hotel. I have never left a bad review for someone before and feel terrible doing so but out of protection for anyone considering this place, I hope you look into other options until the host is able to ensure your privacy and cleanliness of the environment.

Cozy cabin with all of the essentials. You can hear the water frim the cabin, that and the leaves were the only thing we heard. Just steps from the beach that we had to ourselves for the entire time. We did a day trip to White Fish Pointe and Tahquamenon Falls. There is dining and groceries close by in Rodgers City. Great location, would stay again.

Gina's place was very relaxing and we just chilled out, which was what we needed. We're Floridians who are in our hearts Michiganders. So we had everything we needed...Lake Huron, big white pines, and a peaceful, comfortable place to stay

There is no internet. This was not advertised but I anticipated this was a standard amenity. The queen bed in bedroom is against the wall so difficult for 2 people to sleep on that bed. The room with the bunk doesn’t have a ladder so it was a bit challenging to get to the top bunk. There is no room to hang any clothes ( no closet). I would have appreciated some directions on how to use the TV - they had 2 remotes but I couldn’t figure out how to get the TV to display after turning the power button on both (I didn’t want to hit a bunch of buttons and possibly mess up their system). The beach was beautiful! ( just a short walk) Also there was no washer/dryer available-again not advertised but anticipated it would be available. This cozy cabin uses well water which was fine for washing but when using warm/hot water a distinct odor is strong. I expected this and this is part of the up north experience- just sharing for those who are used to city water.

We enjoyed staying here so much! the beach was beautiful, and quiet. The house was a great little place to hang out and the kids loved having s'mores on the campfire at night.
