Unplug and unwind with your whole family in this charming rustic cabin perched above Ocqueoc Lake. Enjoy fishing on the 130 acre no-wake lake. Canoe or kayak the lake and river to catch a glimpse of water fowl and wildlife in its natural habitat. Take pleasure in an evening of telling stories or singing songs around a bonfire. Visit Ocqueoc Falls State Park where you can hike the trails and even swim in the falls, just a few minutes drive away. Several attractions are within a 20 minute drive. Two Bedroom log cabin with full kitchen. The cabin is an open beam structure. The living dining and kitchen are open concept. The bedrooms are petition walled with doorways that are curtained for privacy as seen in the cover photo. You have use of the whole cabin, patio and yard space. The yard space behind the cabin is not fenced but is for your exclusive use. Additional shared yard space is also available for play, picnicking and bonfires.

Nice quaint cabin. Perfect for what we needed
Had a great stay and got to enjoy all of the amazing hidden gems in the area including Ocqueoc falls and some karst topography. Thanks again for a lovely stay
This cabin was all that we needed. We cooked, cleaned and found all that we needed to do so. I left some tools at home, and Penny let me use hers. We believe Penny had a good balance of being available and friendly while still giving us privacy. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a peaceful time away. Thanks.
Penny was a very sweet host. We appreciated being greeted by her and meeting her sweet mom. She was great at helping us navigate as our nav system did not want to bring us all the way there. However we go on vacation for privacy and to get away and this was anything but that. Penny lives on one side her parents live on the other. The fire pit was community for the 5 other cabins next to and very close to ours which we did not know about. We had no bedroom doors open n the bedrooms and there were no walls they made it private between rooms. We came with one other couple so this was not acceptable. It’s cute if you want no privacy. We are very private and looked forward to a beautiful water view but you had to walk down a hill to go to water could not see from the cabin. So very disappointed in description of property as it said very private and quiet. Again host is very sweet just not at all what we were looking for.
Such a beautiful property. A perfect spot to unwind and unplug. Penny and family are meticulous when it comes to taking care of their property. They are friendly, helpful and work so hard at maintaining the cabins and grounds. Highly recommend this place!

Ocqueoc Lake shoreline is about 1/2 privately owned and 1/2 undeveloped state land. Homes on the lake are not crowded together like they are on some bigger lakes. This cabin has some private yard that is not fenced as well as access to a larger shared activity area. Outside of the lakeshore is rural and a low traffic area
You can walk around the residential portions of the lake on gravel roads with very little traffic. However, there are no commercial destinations within walking distance. There is about a 20-minute drive to the nearest town and shopping, however there are sightseeing and restaurants that are closer. There is ample room to park vehicles and even boat trailers within a very short walk from the cabin.
