Enter this single storey holiday cottage off the courtyard straight into the open plan living area, sit by the full height windows to soak up the light and views while you plan your days or gaze out of the kitchen window and see the path leading up Sugar Loaf enticing you out for a walk in the Brecon Beacons. Original timbers keep the country atmosphere in what is the perfect cottage for two. Whole cottage with allocated space in shared courtyard. Our site comprises 7 holiday cottages/apartments with a quiet vibe. We are located just above the canal with stunning 360 degree views of Usk Valley, The Black Mountains and Table Mountain. There are walks from the door, including a pretty walk into Crickhowell. Responsible Tourism - By staying at The Neuadd Cottages you can be confident you are not impacting the local housing crisis here in Wales. Our stunning location has been used for holiday accomodation for over 70 years and is restricted by planning permissions to holiday-only use.

Cute little cottage perfect for a couple looking for a weekend escape. Close to nice walks and villages with pubs and shops.
Had a peaceful stay here, lovely and relaxed with great views. Perfect location for a walking holiday with May walks from the doorstep. Great to have the village and Crickhowell on the doorstep for a good pint and lovely food. Would recommend and would stay again, hopefully soon!
We really enjoyed our stay at Valley View, lovely walks and great pubs, a really pretty area in the countryside with amenities right on your doorstep.
This place is beautiful. You're surrounded by stunning Welsh valleys, you can hear sheep in the distance (and avoid them on the road in). It is peaceful, clean, and quiet. I wanted to note that the shower door of Valley View opens to 35cm wide at its maximum. So, if you have a larger body, maybe larger chest, bottom, or tum (maybe you're pregnant), you're going to have squish a bit. ;) If you're looking for a quiet retreat, this place is it. Gorgeous!

We are in the gorgeous Brecon Beacons National Park, with views over the Usk Valley and Black Mountains.
Great walks and cycle rides from the door. Mon & Brec Canal is a few minutes walk away.
One of the best secrets of the Brecon Beacons (Craig-y-Cillau National Nature Reserve) is on our doorstep.
There are are good pubs in our village and a nice walk to Crickhowell with is renowned independent shops, cafes and pubs (UK Best Highstreet winner 2018).

Hi, I love living here at The Neuadd with my husband Peter and occasionally my kids (all grown up now but visiting here for climbing, walking and biking) and enjoy sharing this beautiful place with guests and friends, Walking and mountain biking are the reasons I came to live here and its great getting out and exploring the national park and then being able to pass on my local knowledge, I am also a Brecon Beacons Ambassador so constantly improving my experience of this wonderful location to pass onto visitors. I am a pilates teacher too and also attend a ballet class, its amazing what facilities are here in and around Crickhowell when you start looking. There is a great community of artists too and if you like knitting and crafts as I do then there is lots of inspiration to be found locally. I love coming home to here after I've been away on holiday and settling back into my warm and cosy kitchen, knowing that of all the places I have traveled to for me this is still the most beautiful.
