This small RV park of just two sites located at the Edisto River Lodge is the perfect stop for some peace and quiet on your journey. Each site comes with a private furnished screened Gazebo with TV, wifi, and refrigerator. Sit around the fire on the Adirondack chairs while enjoying views of the pond our get some sun in the lounge chairs on the 1000 Sq.ft. private patio with privacy fence. *listings states studio with 1 bedroom but it's just a RV site and Airbnb won't allow us to change the setting. A motorhome is not included, you must bring your own. A shared laundry room with half bath and outdoor shower complete the experience. Each site has 30 amp, water and dump station. Roughly two acres are available for your use, fishing in the stocked pond is also allowed. A short trial leads to the river where you can launch a kayak to paddle upstream. a bigger boat launch is a mile away called good hope landing. Close to Givhans Ferry State Park for river tubing and the amazing Bee City Zoo. Situated on a riverfront 4 acre property called the Edisto River Lodge, the house on the water is also available on AirBNB and sleeps 8. A second house on the property is under construction and will also be available spring 2023. Just 20 minutes from I -95 (Walterboro) and an hours drive to downtown Charleston. The closest town is Cottageville just 8 minutes away and downtown Summerville is 25 minutes. Pets are welcome but please keep them leashed and clean up after them. Both sites are designed as pull in and back out for small Class B and C Motorhomes under 32ft, Sprinter sized and van based chassis work best. Due to the properties sharp turn at the entance, only smaller sizes motorhomes under 32 ft are allowed. Small pull behind trailers under 24ft may be possible to back in but you would need to be an excellent backerupper. Vehicles with roof top tents, teardrop style campers and tent camper/trailers are definitely welcome. Wifi works great outside by the fire pits or in the gazebos but inside your RV it may be a bit slower. A wifi booster will help if you have one. By the fire pits we reach speeds of 65mbps but inside RVs it slows considerably especially if you have reflectix or similar window coverings. Cell service for Verizon is spotty but T-mobile works great. Toad or vehicles being towed are welcome but you will want to unhook before entering the property, it's a tight squeeze around the corner.
