Wonderful time up at Sunset Retreat! Highly recommend for a quiet, scenic, get away. Hosts are incredibly kind, quick to respond, and were generous enough not to price gauge us for the solar eclipse, like most of the other airbnb's and hotels in the area! Would love to go back in the summer or fall! Thanks Mike and Christine!

Our stay at Sunset Retreat was absolutely wonderful! The view of Lake Ontario is amazing especially at sunset! Not only do you have a breathtaking view of the lake from the adirondack chairs by lake but on a clear day you can see the Toronto skyline! If you get tired of watching the waves, the boats on the lake, or sitting by the fire, or all of the outdoor games, then black squirrels and other wildlife will certainly entertain you. Christine thought of everything for your stay for sure!! The house is cozy and the beds are so comfortable!! Christine was very responsive when we had questions about the area and we really enjoyed our stay and our first ever trip to northwestern NY!!

Sunset retreat was absolutely perfect for our needs. My Uncle lives within walking distance from Christine’s home and very close to Wilson which is were we spent most of time. We felt very much at home and the home had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the Adirondack chairs by the water. They were great for morning coffee and the sunset in the evening. Sunset Retreat is well equipped with everything you need inside and out. The home is very clean and the water pressure is the shower is AMAZING!! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets we so comfortable. I would love to get some for my own bed in Texas. The fresh flowers were a very nice touch. We did not have one single issue during our stay only a couple questions and Christine was vey quick to response. Communication is excellent. I highly recommend Sunset Retreat and should we return to visit I would definitely stay again.

The place was as pictured! Very peaceful. The place was updated and the furnishings appeared to be purchased for the place not old second hand. Kitchen was well stocked and again utensils pans plates all good condition . What you needed and then some to cook meals. Plenty of yard for our furry friends just not fenced which we we knew and were fine with. Easy driving distance to many local attractions and even border crossing into Canada. We would stay again if ever in the area😊
