Westward Ho! beach boasts 2.5 km of golden sands and tranquil waters. It's one of the few beaches in the South West to be awarded Blue Flag status, with RNLI lifeguards on duty. Despite its popularity, the expansive beach and surrounding countryside ensure it never feels crowded, even in peak season. This makes Palms 34 an ideal base for enjoying the sea and exploring the area. As you enter the bungalow, the lounge is to your left, offering ample seating for friends and family to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The lounge features a smart TV for your entertainment. The hallway leads to an open-plan dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with Bosch and Capel appliances, designed with a unique beach holiday home feel. From the kitchen, you can access a decking area that opens into the rear garden. We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Kam and Ben’s fantastic bungalow in Westward Ho! It is set in a really lovely quiet position, just a few mins walk to the beach and the town centre. The bungalow itself is absolutely wonderful, immaculately clean throughout, spotless infact! Every single thing is provided for your stay, including top quality branded kitchen products and accessories, luxury bed linen and even gorgeous shower gels and hand washes. It is so tastefully decorated throughout. The garden is beautiful and private with plenty of areas to eat or sit and relax. The highlight in the garden for us was the wonderful hot tub, relaxing after a day sightseeing. The bungalow is lovely and bright and airy, with every little thing thought of to make a wonderful relaxing stay! Kam and Ben were warm and welcoming hosts and on hand should you need them.
As a family of 5, we had a fabulous stay at Kam’s Place. Kam was so helpful and provided a warm welcome for our arrival. The property was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and the beds were so comfy. We loved the hot tub and found this to be a great way to relax at the end of the day. The location is perfect as it’s on a quiet street, yet only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend Kam’s place and would love to visit again.

Lovely house in a great location, as it is within east walking distance to the beach, cafes, bars etc. Hot tub was great, and Kam was a lovely host, greeting me on arrival and with lots of recommendations for the local area. Would highly recommend.

Palms 34! 5 minutes walk to the beach. !! Just around the corner of central Westward Ho! Restaurants and beach. Great place for walks. The property it self is in a quiet family friendly neighbourhood, very peaceful at night. This is the perfect location and base to visit and enjoy Westward Ho!. Many guests have stayed with us, not needing to use a car unless they are travelling away from Westward Ho!
The beautiful golden bay of Westward Ho! is just a five minute walk away with miles and miles of sand for walking, playing and enjoying beautiful sunsets. It is a safe blue flag beach with is great for paddling, swimming, surfing, SUP and fishing.
To the right of the property, also just a few minutes away is the Northam Burrows which is both an Area Of Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific interest, don't miss the visitor information centre which offers many family friendly activities and has a great cafe!
Located on the South West Coast path Westward Ho! is an ideal spot from which to enjoy walks or bike rides.

Westward Ho! offers an array of seaside amenities. Westward Ho! Beach is known as Golden Bay. The South West Coastal Path also runs through Westward Ho! - a must for
keen cyclists and walkers - plus swimming, surfing,
canoeing and fishing are all close by. The Tarka Trail is also in close proximity, providing the unique
opportunity to follow a disused railway line amidst some of Devon's finest countryside and scenery. Nearby we have Fun on the Farm and Milky Way, great fun for younger families. North Devon
wakeboard park is a half an hour drive. The cottage is located in a great spot to visit other
local beaches such as Staunton sands, Croyde and Putsbourgh.
On our door step is the Royal North Devon Golf Club. Westward Ho! can rightly claim to be the cradle of English Golf. Founded in 1864, it is the
oldest golf course in the country and is regarded as the St Andrews of the South. The golf course is
as tough as any of the UK's more famous links layouts and has recently been placed in Golf World
's "Top 100 Courses in the World" that a golfer “must play".

Hi I’m kam, a mother to 2 wonderful children and married to my Bestie. As a family we love the outdoors and adore living by the sea. As well as the sea we love the mountains too, snowboarding is a favourite sport as well as surfing. We moved to Westward Ho! And fell in love with the beautiful 3 mile long sandy beach. We love to swim, surf and spend time with each other, on flat days we love to fish and take the kayaks out. Walking around our beautiful local area, my chill out time. I’m self employed working with my husband. My professional background is Legal and Business Management. I also have a flare for art which lead to a decade career In millinery (hat making). I love meeting new people, hosting with Airbnb has made this easier and more enjoyable, leading to making fabulous memories for our guests in this beautiful part of the world.:)
