What started off as just a place to stay while visiting the National Arboretum, turned into a great long weekend - not least due to the standard of Karrie's area guide book and the cottage itself. A perfect place to stay in a very friendly village with lots of places to visit, eat and drink. Karrie was the friendliest and most helpful host, who went out of her way to ensure the stay was perfect - and it certainly was !

We had a lovely time. There was a slight water leak when we were there, Karrie’s speedy response and helpfulness went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

We had a great 2 night stay at Karrie’s cottage. Karrie was an excellent host and communication was great. As we were travelling with our 9 month old baby, Karrie set up the travel cot for us and the cottage was baby friendly with stair gates. Prior to our stay Karrie sent us over a detailed guide of the cottage, things to do and places to eat in the village and close by. This was a great help and enabled us to plan our stay before we arrived. Karrie responded quickly to my queries and went out of her way to provide a detailed response. The cottage was lovely and clean and the space has been utilised well with everything you might need for a short break with lovely extra touches of milk and some treats on arrival. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again if in the area.
