only thing that let it down was we had no hot water and no offer of an alternative except we were offered the communial washing facilities at the swimming pool instead which isnt quite the same as hot water in your own room. They did thank me for reporting it so it would be fixed for the next guests :( Shame really as I cant fault anything else. everything else was as described. make sure you take the food you need as the restaurant is closed and the nearest village is a bit tricky to navigate up and down the a38. The hotel lobby does sell a few items. The satnav suggests you can go a number of routes to the closest village, however it trys to take you through private land, so the a38 is the only way. The tennis court and football court are good fun for children as is the crazy golf. 3/5 only because of the lack of hot water and no alternative.

Great accommodation but there wasn’t much to do locally everywhere was a 45 minute drive away, the grounds and staff are amazing. The internet and tv were really bad the tv kept stuttering and they weren’t smart tvs as described also the internet was very slow
