We had a lovely stay at the Woodland Retreat, a very cosy little cabin. With rain coming in in the evening, we were able to sit under the little roof in front of the wood burner with a view over the green in front, perfect!

Cannot express enough how much we loved our stay here. The cabin is beautiful. Such a peaceful location, if you’re looking for a break to switch off and relax this is the place for you! Laura is such an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble. From welcoming us, settling us in, recommending local eateries, to the breakfast the next morning it was faultless. The small details in the cabin were such a bonus. Marshmallows to roast in the chiminea, wine, and cake on arrival. Great location for visiting popular areas in Cornwall. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you!

I’ve been on the road for nearly 70 days walking from John O’Groats to lands end. When I got to Laura’s accommodation it was beautiful and felt right at home. The bed is so comfortable on the beautiful surroundings just finishing everything off If you looking for somewhere peaceful this is the place. Laura and her husband are so welcoming when you get there you won't want to leave. I'll definitely be coming back to stay there only 5 stars to rate or if definitely give 10 star rating Thank you so much Mark 🦁🇬🇧

We loved staying at Laura’s cabin! She kindly rescued us after a long walk from Padstow under heavy rain and welcomed us into her beautiful family home - we felt very spoiled! The cabin itself is nestled into the woods at the back of the property garden which is great for those seeking for privacy. If you are lucky enough with the weather there is also an outdoor wood burner and a jar full of marshmallows for a cozy night under the stars. Unfortunately for us, it was raining so much on that day that it was impossible to leave the cabin but Laura was so kind to bring us some takeaway fish and chips! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Phone reception was not great but we didn’t mind it at all. Definitely one of the most generous and kind hosts we have ever met! Thank you so much Laura for making our trip so much more memorable.
