The house was great! Beautiful backyard, nice bedrooms, nice game room in the basement, only minutes from DCA airport, and best of all, pet friendly! I would definitely recommend Calming Stay to anyone coming to the DC/Arlington area.

Nice place to stay. Only 2 bedrooms, though there are more places to sleep with pull out couch and bunk bed.

Calming Stay was close to DC and we took an Uber in every day to see the sights. It was as advertised but just know it is a duplex with three floors and steep steps. We went with our daughter and grandson so the steps were not a problem! We never heard the people on the adjoining side. The kitchen was small and adequate but had no toaster. Kitchen dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, hair shampoo and conditioner, bathroom liquid soap and toilet paper were provided. We would stay here again.

I’d highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with their family. Great location offering quick drives to DC and NOVA attractions and points of interest. Also an excellent option for anyone with a pet given the nice big backyard!
