Rachel was an amazing hostess. She was articulate and responsive. We emailed and talked, leaving nothing to chance. I live in Highland Park, Il and had flood damage in my house, so I wanted to be near my home to observe the restoration of my house. Her location was pefect for me. The house was easy to find, adorable and clean with a full kitchen. Thebeachy, peacful "vibe" was just what I needed. The house was beaautifully maintained with all amendities that one would expect in a fine hotel. Parking was easy and we had access to her garage. Beds were comfortable and all linens were like new. My husband and I stayed for a month and had a wonderful time. The house is perfectly "as advertised" and although we were in town for some extremely cold weather, still managed to walk to the shopping/restaurant district a few times. Rachel was a fantastic host and always responsive to any question we had. We cannot thank her enough for her hospitality!

We stayed 5 weeks here while waiting for our home renovation to finish a few towns over. Everything in the home feels new: furnishings, paint, floors, kitchen. It is stylish and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and sofas. Rachel was immediately responsive to a couple of minor issues (needed new batteries in lock, etc). And without us prompting, had coffee delivered because she thought it was low at the start of our stay. Loved being able to walk to town. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Highly recommend.

Rachel is a gracious and thoughtful host making settling in as easy and comfortable as possible. The house is nicely furnished right down to pots and pans, utensils, extra linens and cleaning supplies including laundry detergent. Even had coffee filters and coffee in the cabinet when we arrived. Nice touch. We stayed a month and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were visiting our children and grandkids and it was nice to have our own space and not impose on their hospitality for an extended stay. There's a nice screened porch off the garage that we used quite often and was a big hit with the grandchildren. If you are golfers, as we are, you couldn't ask for a better location. It's only half a block away from the clubhouse at Sunset Valley Golf Course. Very nice public course and surprisingly affordable rates. Only issue we had was the first floor squeaked, but it didn't really bother us . Can't say enough nice things about the house, Rachel and her responsiveness. First rate all around.
