A really great place in an area without many options to rent for a large family gathering. Th setting is beautiful along the river, the house has many beds - 9 separate beds in total with room for 13 people in beds. Very well stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms (2 full bathrooms). Two separate hang out spaces, one on main level and one in lower level, plus a nice deck with good chairs overlooking the river. Quiet area, quiet road for walks, and Buchanan 5 mins away and a good brewery/ restaurant, River St Joe, 2 minutes away and Fernwood nature center 5 minutes away. Was perfect for our three families (my brothers and me) with 4 adult kids and a teenager. Valerie the host was extremely friendly, very responsive and very proactive.

Valerie's place was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay while in Buchanan for a friend's wedding. It was spacious and comfortable and filled with everything we needed. Valerie was super responsive and an amazing host! We have a lot of friends and family in the area and have all told them to book this place in the future. We hope to be back again!

Our stay at this lovely home was comfortable and enjoying. The outside deck was a great setting to have conversation and enjoy the sights of the surroundings and the St. Joseph’s River. A phenomenal and well equipped kitchen added to our pleasure and convenience. A nice grill was located on the back deck as well. Comfortable beds and an extremely peaceful & friendly neighborhood. We would easily return for another stay! Highly recommend!
