The location of this place is incredible. It literally feels like you’re sleeping on the water. Not super charming interiors, and needs some renovations, but it’s nice enough and the views are unbeatable. However, there are some weird things about this place that are good to know before you book: 1. They don’t provide a single kitchen condiment for cooking. No salt, pepper, oil, etc. I typically expect this in airbnbs (I have stayed in hundreds by now, and they have all had these basics). The pots and pans are really awful and limited. There were no dinner plates to eat from. We have kids so we go with airbnbs bc we can cook. 2. They send an itemized list of every single thing in the villa before you arrive. They also list it in the house. I found this very odd. 3. They provide very limited bathroom items. One tiny bottle of hand soap, nothing else- no shampoo, etc. Again, this is fairly standard in Airbnbs. I am also a host on airbnbs so I know what guests typically expect.

Awesome views from 1st and 2nd floor. We had a slight problem to find the entrance on the 1st day. Accommodation was really more than what we expected.

Views are breathtaking. Very easy access to the lagoon. An absolute gem. We will definetly be visiting again

Our recent stay was nothing short of spectacular. From the breathtaking views to the beautiful house and the warm hospitality of our host, it was an experience that left us thoroughly enchanted. We had a really great stay in Langebaan at Sunset Villa. We were right on the water and at sunset had a magnificent view. Unfortunately it was colder than expected while we were there but the owner supplied us with 2 heaters to make us comfortable. The onsite manager, Vusi, was fantastic in helping us. Extremely pleasant surroundings, close to the West Coast National Park which we visited a couple times. Dinner at the Shark Bay Hotel also close by enabled us to have dinner with a beautiful lagoon view. At low tide one can walk down at the water's edge, and it is a short drive to the beach, either at Shark Bay or at Pearly's...or to breakfast at my favorite places, Friday Island...and Marc's Bar. Definitely a place worth visiting!
