The place was very clean but I expected better for the price I paid. The floors are uneven-some rooms nearly a foot different in height corner to corner. The front door does not lock securely. The doors inside are hard to open and close. All of the kitchen chairs are duct taped. Not just duct tape patched, the entire seat was upholstered with duct tape.

Pros - The place is very unique. Comfortable bed, washer/dryer in unit, very private, easy checkout (leave key on outside table/nothing else required upon checking out). Cons - Checkin is not flexible since it’s “in person”/host gives you a physical key. They do have a/c, but the second bedroom does not. Unclear instructions for parking/locating the carriage house. My only real issue was the checkin process. As a host myself, guests have flexibility when arriving and use a secure code to get inside. We arrived late due to roadwork/traffic delays, I stayed in communication with updates, then received a response that they “couldn’t wait anymore”. Added lots of stress to an already stressful commute! I advised we were 20 minutes away and asked them to leave the key hidden. Sam would not leave the key, and would only wait if I paid $40 in cash at the door. I agreed to it since I didn’t have any other options at 11:30pm and 3 hours from home. Fees for late arrival should be disclosed

Dery made me and my wife feel comfortable. He installed a door a top of stairs because my wife has depth perception issues. He allways got back to me in a timely manner. I woukd stay again!
